I switched to a new domain(markveres.ro) from the old domain name(xoni.ro). The old domain still works, at the time I’m writing this. The new site is hosted on my Raspberry PI.

To dox or not to dox?

Even though the IP is static and people can just look up the geolocation of said IP, the IP never points to my real location. Hypothetically, people could constantly surveil my IP and narrow down the area where I am located by excluding locations where my IP points to.

Technical information

The Raspberry Pi has 8 GB of RAM and runs the Raspberry Pi OS. I use nginx to serve static content generated by hugo and uploaded to the server with rsync. I use certbot to generate free SSL certificates.

In the future I will setup a mail server and host a few online services like: Jitsi, Gitea and ejabberd.
